Cause Analysis

Head-to-head, foot-to-head! I analyzed the current configuration of my computer:

CPU: Core i5 2410 M @ 2.30 GHz dual-core 4 thread

Motherboard: Acer Aspire4750G

Memory: 4 GB (2 GB South Asia + 2 GB Weigang)

Hard Disk: Seagate ST9500325AS 500G 5400 RPM cache 8 MB

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT540 (1 GB)

Through the above Configuration Analysis combined with the current situation of daily use to speculate the cause:

1. the i5 processor should not be a bottleneck affecting performance;

2. There is no way to change the motherboard. The cost is too high. It is better to buy a new one if you want to change the motherboard;

3.4G memory is not enoughBecause I often need to run various development tools at the same time, such as simultaneously opening a VS2010, an Intellij IDEA (or MyEclipse), and a virtual machine;

Purchase Configuration

According to the above analysis, the accessories to be purchased include:(Solid state) Hard Drive, memory, silica gel (for Heat Conduction ).Now there is a new problem. What should I do if I change my hard disk? It has two purposes:

1. As a mobile hard disk, you need to buy a "mobile hard disk box" to assemble the split hard disk into a mobile hard disk;

2. Add dual hard disks to the computer. You need to buy an "optical drive space hard drive bracket". The optical drive is no longer needed and is replaced with a hard drive. You will find that the optical drive is not very useful and has been gradually replaced by other products (such as hard disks and Baidu disk removal). In the future, it will definitely exit the market stage.

Statement in advance: My computer model is: ACER 4750G, because I need to clear and apply silica gel (usually 1-2 years to clear the gray, I have not completed my computer for more than a year.

1. If you just change the hard disk and memory, you only need to split the blue box. The two parts of the blue box can be split by hand to replace the memory and hard disk, such as 2. Screw 1 in the blue frame to unscrew the optical drive.

2. The green-framed screw is screwed down, and the hard disk can be removed after a push. Note that there will be two buckles on both sides of the two memories, and the memory can be removed after a snap on both sides.

If you don't need to clear your computer, you don't need to read the content behind the disassembling assembly part.

 

 

3. Screw the screws in the frames shown in figure 1, Figure 2, and figure 3 to split the entire bottom cover.

4. if you remove the entire motherboard, remove the keyboard and open the corresponding cable. Note that when you split the keyboard, you must first screw 3 and 4 in Figure 1, because it is connected to the keyboard through 1 and 2 in Figure 4, otherwise, the keyboard cannot be removed, which is easy to break down. The red box in figure 4 shows three cabling interfaces.

5. Clean the fan dust and replace the silica gel.

This part forgot to take a photo. Pay attention to the effect of silica gel to reduce the contact distance between the tube and the CPU and graphics card, and increase the heat dissipation function. System Installation

It is very easy to install the system separately. I want to talk about this situation. Now there are two hard disks: one solid state (SSD) hard disk is located in the original hard disk, which is assumed as hard disk 1 (New Hard Disk ); A mechanical hard disk is installed in the optical drive using the drive space. It is assumed to be hard disk 2 (original hard disk ).

Now we need to keep the data and Operating System (win7 x64) in Hard Disk 2, and install another System in New Hard Disk 1, or win7. In this way, no matter which hard disk is removed, as long as one hard disk is there, it can still be used normally.

Now the question is, there are two systems, both of which are win7. How can I choose the system I want to use when I start the system?

In this case, you need to set the boot file. The easiest way is to use the EasyBCD tool.

 

1. Go to the system in Hard Disk 1 (you can press F12 or F2 at boot time to select which hard disk to start) and install EasyBCD, for example;

 

2. Select Add New Entry to Add a New startup Item;

 

3. Save settings

 

4. Open my computer, click Properties> advanced system Settings> Advanced startup and fault recovery, and click "Settings ". Select the default Operating System to display the operating system time.
