Upgrade or demote a SmartArt graphic shape in Word2010

In a Word2010 document, shapes in a SmartArt graphic can be upgraded or degraded to make it easier for users to design a more realistic SmartArt graphic. Upgrading or demoting a shape is especially useful in hierarchical graphics, as described in the following procedure:

Step 1th, open the Word2010 document window, and click to select the SmartArt graphic shape you want to upgrade or demote.

Step 2nd, click the Upgrade or Demote button in the Create graphic group in the SmartArt Tools/design Ribbon to raise a level or drop one level, as shown in Figure 2011070302.
