After Adobe released flash builder 4.6, the release of the new flash builder version was suspended. However, the air and Flash Player versions are constantly updated. After downloading the new airsdk and overwriting the corresponding version directory under the flash builder 4.6 sdks directory, it is found that debugging still fails after the upgraded Flash Player feature is used, the usual solution is to set the version number (for example,-SWF-version = 16) in the "Additional compiler Parameters" item, but this setting is for a single project. In fact, we can solve this problem through a unified upgrade of Flash Player 4.6 of Flash builder. The procedure is as follows: Upgrade airsdk to 3.3 and upgrade Flash Player to 11.3.

1. Update the debugging version of the independent Adobe Flash Player. download the latest Flash Player 11.3 projector content debugger file and open \ player \ release under the installation directory of Flash builder 4.6, finally, open "window-preference-flash builder-debugging" in Flash builder and set "independent Adobe Flash player( ))”to flashplayerdebugger.exe in the 11.3 directory. Pay attention to the application.

2. Update the airsdk version: Download adobeairsdk3.3, the latest airsdk version, and open the \ sdks \ 4.6.0 directory under the installation directory of Flash builder 4.6, decompress the downloaded airsdk file and overwrite the directory.

3. Update the target-player and SWF-version values: Open the \ sdks \ 4.6.0 \ frameworks directory under the flash builder 4.6 installation directory, then open the flex-config.xml, air-config.xml, airmobile-config.xml three xml configuration files under the directory with a text editor, change the value of all target-player items to 11.3, change the value of all SWF-version items to 16, and save the file.

4. Update playerglobal. SWC file: Download playerglobal here. the latest version of SWC, and then open the \ sdks \ 4.6.0 \ frameworks \ libs \ player directory under the installation directory of Flash builder 4.6, create a folder named "11.3" in the directory and download playerglobal. copy the SWC file to the "11.3" Directory (note that the file name must be playerglobal. SWC ).

So far, Flash Player in Flash builder 4.6 has been upgraded. Now, in Flash builder 4.6, whether you create a web project or an air project, you can debug it through the latest Flash Player version, you no longer need to set the version number in "Additional compiler Parameters.
