The C-Disk Users folder has been moved to D-Disk and a symbolic link has been established in place. (I suspect this is the reason why the system upgrade failed)

Booting with a USB flash drive is the wrong way to upgrade. If you are upgrading, you need to run Setup.exe from the Windows system. The program will handle the file, you can take out a USB flash drive, CD-ROM and other installation media before restarting. The interface shown in Figure 2.2 and 2.3 will be entered after the reboot.

Therefore, this displays the Compatibility Report: Start the computer by using the Windows installation media. Remove the installation media and restart the computer so that Windows starts normally. Then insert the installation media and restart the upgrade. 13.5.

The key and mirror installers are available only at the corresponding version. Even if Windows 8.1 can be upgraded to 10 for free, its key cannot be used for 10.

Visible manual updates are risky. And does not automatically become the active version. Do not imitate, gentlemen.

Pre-failure Reason analysis:

The system file may be corrupted.

This may be because you moved the Users folder.

It is possible that some of the items in the system setup are special and Setup cannot handle them.

Windows 10 Experience:

The surface is very cool, the function is not perfect. In many places the interaction logic is confusing.

Microsoft wants a system to run everywhere, but devices that operate with a keyboard and mouse are naturally different from devices that hold touch with their hands. The unification of the two is still not very good.

Many of the good features of Windows 8.1 have disappeared, reversing the history.

1 Assign the drive letter correctly (my PE will treat the system disk as D, use Diskgenius to make C drive)

2 Copy folder with permissions: xcopy C:\Users d:\users/e/h/k/x/y

3 Delete the original folder
