Url address automatically added # Problem Description

In web development, sometimes you like to write click events for hyperlinks as follows:

<A href = "#" onclick = "link ();"> operation </a>

Once you submit an ajax request using jquery, the end of the url parameter on the current page will automatically add a # sign. I was puzzled at the beginning. After half a day, I had to solve this problem. I changed it to href = "javascript: void (0);" and the problem did not appear.

Note: # contains a location. The default anchor is # top, that is, the top of the webpage. javascript: void (0) only indicates a dead link.
