Usage of MongoDB----Pymongo

Pymongo is a Python module that may be installed by sudo pip install Pymongo.

• Import Pymongo

Import Pymongo

• Create a connection

conn = Pymongo. Connection ("127.0.0.1", 27017)

• View all databases

Conn.database_names ()

• Connect to the specified database

db = Conn.test

Or:

db = conn["test"]

• View all collections of a specified database

Db.collection_names ()

• Connect a collection of specified databases

Db.col

Or:

db["col"]

• Gets all the documents for the specified collection

Db.col.find ()

• Gets a document for the specified collection:

Db.col.find_one ()

Or:

Db.col.find () [0]

Or:

Db.col.find_one ({"a" : 2})

• Add, modify, and delete documents for the specified collection:

Db.col.insert (...) Db.col.update (...) Db.col.remove (...)
