Usage of Shell functions and source commands

Source: Internet
Author: User

The source command can load another script in one script. The following is an example:

First, we define a function script named myfunc. Sh, as follows:

#! /Bin/bash
Function Square
{
Local temp
Let temp = $1*$1
The sum of squares of Echo "$1 is: $ Temp"
}
Function cube
{
Local temp
Let temp = $1*$1*$1
Echo "$1CubeAnd: $ Temp"
}

Then we define another script called caluate:

#! /Bin/bash
Source myfunc. Sh
Echo "enter an integer :"
Read n
Square $ n
Cube $ n

Source myfunc. Sh loads the script myfunc. Sh, and then calls the square and cube functions defined in myfunc. Sh in the caluate script.
