About the use of ansi_padding

1. When set to on, the trailing zeros that are inserted into the varbinary column are not clipped in the character value, and the trailing spaces inserted into the varchar column and the binary values. The value is not populated by the length of the column.

2. When set to OFF, trims the trailing spaces of the varchar column and the trailing zeros of the varbinary column. This setting affects only the definition of the new column.

When 1.setansi_padding is on, the null value of char (n) and binary (n) columns are allowed to be filled to the column length;

2. When setansi_padding is off, trailing spaces and 0 are clipped, and the char (n) and binary (n) columns that do not allow nulls are always populated to the column length.

Default is ON
