We often encounter the purchase of this or a need to install the system found that the optical drive is not good or no optical drive? This is so helpless. Can we just give up? No, I will be able to install it using a USB flash drive.
Method 1:
Run CMD as an administrator to enter the command prompt line and enter these commands in sequence:
C: \> diskpart
DISKPART \> list disk if the machine has only one hard Disk, the USB flash disk should be displayed as Disk 1, which must be optimistic here.
DISKPART \> select disk 1 select the U disk as the current disk
DISKPART \> clean clear Disk
DISKPART \> create partition primary
DISKPART \> select partition 1 select partition
DISKPART \> active partition activation (do it, otherwise it cannot be started)
DISKPART \> format fs = ntfs quick
DISKPART \> exit to exit the Diskpart command mode.
Next, copy the installation file to the USB flash drive: re-insert the USB flash drive, decompress the files in the Win7 or Vista image file directly to the USB flash drive, or use the virtual optical drive virtual image to open the directory of the virtual optical drive, copy all the installation files to the USB flash drive. You can use a USB flash drive to start the system, and then install the system. Remember to change the BIOS to boot from the USB flash drive before installation.
Method 2:
Of course, we may have some friends are not used to using the command line to do a U disk with the boot function, it does not affect, we can use the Windows7-USB-DVD-tool to complete this function, huh, it is also quite simple and officially provided by Microsoft.
1. First download the Windows7-USB-DVD-tool and install it on our computer.
For: http://images2.store.microsoft.com/prod/clustera/framework/w7udt/1.0/en-us/Windows7-USB-DVD-tool.exe
2. Insert the U disk to your computer and double-click the tool icon on the desktop, as shown in;
3. Double-click the run button to display the first step. This step allows you to select the ISO file for Windows 7, click "Browse" to Browse and select the Windows 7 ISO file, and then select "Next", as shown in;
4. After clicking Next, the Next step appears. This is the Device that you choose to install windows. There are USB devices and DVDs in the lower right corner. Here, of course we choose USB Device, this is my ultimate goal.
5. After the Next step, the third step is to select a USB device. Select your USB flash drive and then select Begin copying in the lower right corner. Then, the software starts to import the ISO format to the USB flash drive.
6. First, the program will automatically format your USB flash drive, and then the software will start to copy the file. So if there is something important, you must back up the file in advance.
7. After several minutes, all operations are completed. Click the close button above.
8. After the installation is complete, you can see that your USB flash drive is bootable and the related installation has been copied to your USB flash drive.
Of course, during installation, be sure to choose to boot into a USB flash drive,
