Use a USB flash drive to install Fedora17

When many friends install Fedora17 with a USB flash drive, the screen displays the following prompt: ERROR: couldnotinsert 'floppy ': large... dracutWarning: UnabletoprocessinitqueuedracutWarning:/dev/disk/by-label/Fedorax201

When many of my friends use a USB flash drive to install Fedora 17, the screen displays the following prompt:
ERROR: cocould not insert 'floppy ': No such device
Loading Fedora 17 i686 installer...

Dracut Warning: Unable to process initqueue
Dracut Warning:/dev/disk/by-label/Fedorax2017x20i386 does not exist
Dracut Warning:/dev/mapper/live-rw does not exist

Dropping to debug shell.

Burn the Fedora 17 dvd iso to the USB flash drive with a soft disc UltraISO (see the http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2010-03/25036.htm for download), delete the packages folder (save space), and copy the iso of the DVD into the USB flash drive.

Then it appears

Enter the following

Enter the following command

Dracut:/# cd dev

Dracut:/# ls

Next we will find sdd, sdb, and sdc, which may start with sd, but generally sdb. Here you can see two files starting with sdb: sdb and sdb1, sdb1 represents your USB flash drive. Here we assume that you see sdb1 and my display is sdb4. remember which one you see.

Then reboot and you will see

Install or upgrade Fedora

Troubleshooting

Press the Tab key when the first item is selected (default ).

Append initrd = initrd. img root = live: CDLABEL = Fedora \ x2017 \ x20i386 quiet

Then you change

Append initrd = initrd. img repo = hd:/dev/sdb1:/quiet

Sdb1 indicates what you saw in the previous step, and click OK.

Note: This method uses a USB flash drive to boot the image installation in the USB flash drive. You do not need to manually partition the installation of Fedora 17 as 16.
