Today, someone asked me if I could use my PC as a website server and access the internet through a domain name? The answer is yes, but I am a 2 m ADSL + route, and the access speed is really not ideal. If you just want to try it, try it, or your website doesn't want to file a record, if your household optical fiber has enough bandwidth, please follow the steps I mentioned.
The following work uses my home's ADSL + router + peanut shell + square matching website server environment as an example to build an online Web server and access it through domain names on the Internet, in addition, make sure that you enable anti-virus software on your computer or the firewall to allow access to the website port.
1. Register a peanut shell user and go to http://www.oray.cn/. after registration, apply for a free 2-level domain name (for example, My fangpage. vicp. cc). This process is very simple. Just register with the peanut shell website;
2. download and install the peanut shell client http://www.oray.cn/peanuthull/download.php
Note: Remember to activate the second-level domain name of the peanut shell.
3. The key is router port ing.
Open the router address, such as http: // 192.168.0.1, I am a TD-Link (DI-504) router, enter the user name, password and then log in. Find the virtual server and add a new entry: enter the port number, such as 80. The IP address is the IP address of the server you need, such as 192.168.0.101, protocol mode: TCP, status: Effective at any time.
4. vro dynamic DDNS settings
First, go to the dynamic DDNS option of the router, select the peanut shell, enter the registered peanut shell passport, password, and select "Activate DDNS". Then, the connection is successful and OK;
Ping the registered peanut shell Level 2 domain name. If it is displayed, it indicates that the domain name has taken effect.
5. Install the matching website server http://www.fangpage.com/software/fpwebserver/fpwebserver.rar
Check whether the local localhost can be accessed normally, bind the Level 2 Domain Name of the peanut shell to the site, and click the [advanced] button to add the Level 2 domain name binding of the peanut shell, such:
Now, your PC has become a real Web server on the Internet. It can be accessed anywhere through a 2-level domain name of the peanut shell, such as entering fangpage. vicp. cc can access the WEB page made on our local machine. Now you can ask your friends to visit your website.
It's easy to bind a top-level domain name. log on to the top-level domain name Management Panel and find the CNAME (alias) with the prefix WWW. the alias points to the second-level domain name of our peanut shells and creates, in this way, the top-level domain name can also access the Web server.
