Preparation:
Ultraiso: used to create a USB flash drive. Centos 6.3 x64 image: http://ftp.sjtu.edu.cn/centos/6.3/isos/x86_64/CentOS-6.3-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso U Disk: greater than 4G.
Complete installation process
- Create a USB flash disk image
1. Open ultraiso and find the CentOS-6.3-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso in your local directory. (Note: an article says that if centos is installed on any machine, you have to create a USB flash disk image on the machine. Otherwise, an error occurs, which is a centos bug. This is not the case now, and can be done on any machine .)
2. "Start" --> "Write hard disk image" --> "write"
3. U disk space is not enough, you can only retain the "Images" and "isolinux" two folders, all the other delete, and then copy the CentOS-6.3-x86_64-bin-DVD1.iso to the u disk root directory. (Note: otherwise, the missing ISO 9660 image error occurs during installation .)
4. Restart with a USB flash drive. Select "Install system with basic driver" and press Enter. Select the language and keyboard mode. Press enter by default. In "installation method", select "Hard Drive", and then select the partition where the U disk is located (you can try one by one if you are not sure ).
The following figure shows the general system installation. At least the root partition of the SWAp partition and the ext4 format mount point must be.
When installing the boot loader recording the installation location, select MBR to change the drive sequence and change the order of the two drives in the pop-up BIOS. (Note: The grub of the operating system is written into the USB flash drive by default. If there is no USB flash drive in the future, the installed system cannot be started)
