Use a USB flash drive to run Chrome OS on any machine

Foreign users compile a Chrome OS USB boot image file that can run on any computer and provide seed downloads. This will free you from the inconvenience caused by virtual machines. However, don't be happy too early. It's not so comfortable to use. Different from the version compiled by TualatriX, the USB boot disk obtained in this method is not limited to the netbook, and can be used on any machine. I did not try TualatriX because it needs to run on the netbook with restrictions. This method and version are both from abroad. I have not downloaded it, so I have not tried it. I hope to provide feedback here. I will run it as soon as possible. Preparations:

A blank USB flash disk is enough for 4G. The current USB flash disk prices are 2,988,442,112 bytes because the image file size of Chrome OS is bytes. For a computer that supports USB boot, you need to change it to USB boot in BIOS. Prepare for luck. If you use up your character at ordinary times, be careful this time, just like installing the same Linux on different computers will cause completely different problems. Google has made it open-source to download the Chromium OS file. A package seed file is provided here. Download it through BT.

The downloaded file is a compressed system disk Image file in zip format. It also contains a small software Image Writer for Windows, which is used to create a USB boot disk for Chrome OS.

Install Chrome OS to USB drive:
Decompress the downloaded chrome_ OS _usb.zip file and run win32diskimager.exe. If this error occurs, ignore it and click OK. This is a floppy disk, sweating.

As shown in figure, Click Browse and select the chrome_ OS .img file that appears after decompression. Make sure that you have inserted a USB flash drive. In this case, select the drive letter of your USB flash drive from the disk drop-down menu. Then click the Write button, and the software starts to Write the image to the USB flash disk.

Start Chromium OS:
It is too convenient to write the image. Restart the computer. If it has been changed to a USB flash drive, the logon page of chromium OS will appear within 10 seconds. The local user name isChronosThe password isPassword.
