1. A. Download and compile the axel source code package
Download the latest Axel source package, http://wilmer.gaast.net/main.php/axel.html to the following site

. Go to the download directory:
$ Tar zxvf file name
$ CD decompressed directory
$./Configure -- i18n = 1
$ Make
$ Make install

B. The axel RPM package is available on the download site. I have not tried it. If you are interested, please try it.
