1. Download centos. Here I use a DVD.
2. Download easydcd and search it online.
3. Draw a 10 Gb partition and format it into FAT32 format. It seems that I had to use FAT32 when I installed fedora on the hard disk. I didn't need to try it now.
4. compress the isolinux and images folders in centos to the root directory of the partition.
5. Open easybcd and add new entry --> neogrub --> install --> Configure. a txt file will pop up and enter
Title centos
Root (hd0, 4)
Kernel (hd0, 4)/isolinux/vmlinuz
Initrd (hd0, 4)/isolinux/initrd. img
And then disable it. After restart, select centos.
Hd0 indicates the first hard disk, hd1 indicates the second hard disk, and so on.
Hd0, 0 indicates the first partition of the first hard disk, hd0, 1 indicates the second partition of the first hard disk, and so on. In XP, the C disk is usually hd0, 0, but win7 has a m hidden partition, so the C disk is usually hd0, 1 and so on. However, sometimes the partitioning is messy, which may lead to the following inaccuracy. But it doesn't matter. When you start the system, pay attention to the prompts at the bottom of the screen. You can press e to edit and press B to start the system, in this case, you will always be right. The Installation Guide page is displayed only when the correct information is entered.
Note: When installing fedora16 on a hard disk, add the Linux askmethod to vmlinuz to prevent startup from the network.
