Use Excel conditional formatting to make a yellow card for students who fail to pass the exam

Teachers often use Excel spreadsheets to make a systematic contrastive analysis of students ' grades. In order to see the convenience, we can use the "conditional format" feature provided by Excel, for failing students to first light the "yellow card".

1, use the mouse to select a section or a few subjects of the results of the cell (do not use the selection of a whole row or a whole column of methods, otherwise no data empty cells will also participate in the operation.) Click the menu bar format → conditional formatting (figure 1), Open the Conditional Formatting dialog box, click the Drop-down button "between", select "Less than", and then fill in the box with a pass score of 72, meaning less than 72 and failing. 2, click the Format button, in the Open Cell Format dialog box, select the Pattern tab (Figure 3), select yellow in the color item, and then click OK to exit. Such a failing grade will become a "black word of yellow". (Figure 4)

3, if you want to cancel the yellow card, you can select these cells again, click format → conditional formatting, click the Format button in the Conditional Formatting dialog box, select No color in the color item or click the Clear button, and then click OK to exit. So the "yellow card" was canceled. (Figure 5)
