In 64-bit Windows 8, Modern IE 10 uses 64-bit by default, While IE 10 runs 32-bit by default due to plug-ins. If you want to enable 64-bit IE 10 for the desktop version, follow these steps. 1. Open IE 10 on the desktop, click the gear button, and select Internet Options. 2. Go to the advanced settings tab in the Internet Options window; www.2cto.com 3. Scroll down and find the "enable enhanced protection mode *" option. 4. Enable this option, click "application"> "OK", and restart the computer. After the restart, you can use the desktop version of the IE 10 64-Bit mode, but this may cause some IE Plug-ins to not work properly.
