CuteFTP is an excellent upload and download tool. I am afraid few of my friends who frequently access the Internet may not know its name. Among the numerous FTP software, after website management is established in CuteFTP, we can add some common websites and upload and download files to these websites, let's take a look. Add an FTP site
1. Run CuteFTP and click "New" in the "FTP Site Manager (FTP Site management)" window. A dialog box shown in Figure 1 is displayed.

2. Enter the FTP site name in the "Label for site" text box.
3. Enter the site Address in the "FTP Host Address (site Address)" text box.
Note: This address cannot contain ftp: // or a folder path, but must be the site address.
4. In the "FTP site User Name" and "FTP site Password" text boxes, enter the username and Password required for logon.
5. If the logon site does not require a password, select the "Anonymous (Anonymous)" button in the "Login Type" area.
6. Enter the FTP address Port in the "Port" text box. The default value is 21.
So far, we have created an FTP site.
Upload and download files
After adding a site, select an FTP site in the site management window (note that only one FTP site can be selected) to establish a connection with the site. After connecting to the server, the CuteFTP window is divided into two panes: left and right. The left pane displays the list of files on the local hard disk, and the right pane displays the list of files on the remote hard disk. The file list is displayed in the same way as the Windows Resource Manager, as shown in figure 2.
You can drag the icon of a file or folder to upload and download files. Drag the files in the right pane to the left pane to download the files. Drag the files in the left pane to the right pane to upload the files.
