Use IDM to download SAP software and enjoy fast downloads in the same way!

 I haven't updated it for a long time. This time I will bring you an original article from my good friend Guiyang, which is very helpful to sap basis consultants. Thank you for your hard work!

Are you still using SAP Download Manager? Still enduring the "fast" download of 20 mbps bandwidth of Download Manager but 2 kbps? Is the Download Manager still being interrupted? Brother, you are out. Use IDM to boost your bandwidth and enjoy the same speed !!

This article is only for those Saper who have been suffering from SAP Download Manager for a long time !!

Step 1: Install Internet Download Manager (IDM). The process is not shown.

Step 2: Configure IDM and click Download. options are as follows: 1:

Step 3: Click site login, as shown in Figure 2:

Step 4: add the login information (s) of the SMP website, as shown in 3:

Step 5: Modify the temporary directory of IDM, as shown in Figure 4:

Note: The IDM will first download the file to the temporary directory. After all the data is downloaded, integrate it into a file to the target Download location. Therefore, a large number of temporary directories need to be prepared.

Step 6: log on to SMP and add the software package to be downloaded to download basket. The process is not shown.

Step 7: log on to SMP and select my download basket, as shown in Figure 5:

Step 8: Right-click to download all connections through IDM, as shown in Figure 6:

Note: This method can only download one page of download basket at a time, that is, up to 20 packages. If there are more than 20 packages, repeat the page (Steps 8 to 11 ).

Step 9: on the displayed page, check the installation package to be downloaded, as shown in Figure 7:

Note: If the preceding login information is correctly configured, the file size will be obtained. Otherwise, the file size will be err. You must manually enter the "S" in the task attribute of IDM to download the file, remember.

Step 10: click "OK" to add the task to the task list, as shown in Figure 8:

Step 2: select a queue and click Start queue to enjoy the fast download speed brought by IDM, as shown in Figure 9:

The IDM configuration ends here. IDM supports multiple threads to quickly and stably download the SMP installation package, but it cannot break through the physical bandwidth limit. Therefore, it is king to download the package smoothly and increase the bandwidth.

Network Downloading may cause packet loss and data corruption. After downloading, verify MD5 to ensure the installation package is complete. IDM can download the sap installation package, but cannot download the note, so you still have to endure the sap Download Manager abuse when downloading the note.

Because IDM is not a free software, due to copyright restrictions, IDM is not provided here and you need to find resources on your own.
