Article Title: use keyboard shortcuts to make Ubuntu faster. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.

When you start the terminal, do you still need to click Application> attachment => terminal? When you started EVA, were you still looking for it honestly ?...... ? After reading the article that haozi3 brings to everyone, we can say goodbye to the cumbersome method. Everyone knows about keyboard shortcuts. Today, I will introduce how to set up a keyboard shortcut program. Here I will first run EVA as an example. Other programs, and so on.

First, enter:

Gconf-editor

This command opens a program similar to the Registry in WIN. Shows the interface.

Linux.cn/"target = _ blank>

My system is in English version, and the Chinese version of the interface is similar.

Enter keybinding_commands under Find (Search) under Edit. The following window is displayed:

Linux.cn/"target = _ blank>

Have you seen it? The window in the upper right corner shows many command_1 ~ Command_10. Select a blank command and change the Value to the program you want to run. Here I want command_10 to run eva.

Find global_keybindings and get the following window.

In the upper-right corner, select run_command_10, which corresponds to command_10 you just set in keybinding_command, and change its Value to the keyboard shortcut you need, as long as it does not conflict with other keyboard shortcuts, for example, if F12 is used to open the terminal, I cannot use F12. again, to make it easier to remember and avoid confusion, I chose F10. (note that the input "F10" here is the keyboard input, instead of pressing the F10 key directly, I didn't understand it at first. Haha: P) If you want to add Ctrl or Alt or other key combinations, you only need to add angle brackets to the outside. For example, F10

Disable gconf-editor. Try F10. Is eva running? I have set multiple shortcuts, such as Firefox and terminator. I have pasted a sticker on the keyboard. I wrote Fox on it, which indicates that the key is Firefox to avoid confusion. Stupid, hard to remember, no way. Haha.

Gconf-editor can modify many things, such as changing the terminal copy and paste And If you are interested, you can think about it yourself.
