1. Install MDaemon

First, download the latest version of mdaemonat http://www.altn.com/download/default.asp. Double-click the installation file to start installation. Before installing MDaemon, uninstall or stop all services of all original email server software to avoid port conflict.

During installation, you must first Select a Language. Generally, the default English (U. s. english), then the Registration Information Prompt window appears. If you already have the relevant Information, enter it as required; otherwise, please go to the user Name (Full Name) and enter any content under the Company Name of the user to try the software. Select "default" for all subsequent installation options.

After the installation is complete, the related services run automatically. A Message Router dialog box is displayed, which means that the MDaemon manager closes the Message Router to stop all MDaemon services.

2. Configure MDaemon's mail service

After MDaemon is installed, the default email host name is "company. mail" and the email address is "username @ company. amil ". Now, we need to set the corresponding mail service for ourselves, that is, to modify the mail host name.

In the "Message Router" dialog box, click the "Setup> Primary domain" option to enter the Primary domain name Settings dialog box, and click the "Dmain/ISP" option, map "Dmain name" and "HELO domain" to the original "company. mail is changed to its own mail host name, such as sfman.net.

Next, add the user name for your email host. In the "Message Router" dialog box, right-click the "Account" option and select the "Account Manager" command to open the Account Manager dialog box. Click "New" here. In the "Account Editor" dialog box that opens, click the "Account" tab and enter the Full name of the user in the "Full name" box; the "Mailbox name" box is the email user name. Enter your own email host name, such as sfman, and ensure that the subsequent email host name is "sfman.net ", then, enter the user password in the "Account password" box and click "OK. You only need to repeat the preceding steps to create multiple users.

3. send and receive emails through Web

In MDaemon, you can use IE to log on to your mailbox and send and receive emails. It is implemented through the "WorldClient" service. The "WorldClient" service allows users to access any Client in the World) you can use a browser to remotely configure and manage MDaemon servers. The WebMail function is included.

In the installation status of the local machine, worldclientis not activated, and the local machine is added to its installation directory, and "worldclient.exe" is used to run the program. In the "Message Router" dialog box, right-click the "WorldClient" option and select the "Toggle Active/Inactive" command.

Now someone else just needs to enter your mail server address in the browser, such as http://www.sfman.net: 3000, you can see your WebMail page, then enter the user name and password, you can use a WEB browser to operate and control your mailbox.

4. Ask the user to apply for a new email account online

In the "Message Router" dialog box, select "WordldClient/RelayFax" under the "Setup" option to open the "WordldClient" and "RelayFax" attribute windows, click the Options Option, select "Allow users to create new accounts" (Allow users to create new accounts), and click "OK" to exit. Then, enter the logon interface in the browser, and you will find that the "Create account" button is added in the "sign" button. Click to apply for your new email account online.
