Use Photoshop to create a picture of beauty in ink

This tutorial is about how to use Photoshop to quickly create beautiful pictures of ink and wash, through this tutorial you will learn how to use different texture materials, brushes and color techniques to create a fascinating picture.

　　1th Step:

Create a new blank document with the size set to 1000x1000 px. Create a new layer, select the gradient tool, gradient type to select a radial gradient, and pull the #ffffff to the #677faf gradient from center to edge.

Set the layer opacity to 50%.

　　2nd Step:

Pull the beauty model out of the background and drag it to the document we created.

Create a new curve adjustment layer, set it as a clipping mask for the model layer, and adjust the red and blue channels respectively:

Also add a hue/saturation adjustment layer for the model layer:

　　3rd Step:

Install ink brush and ink splash brush. Add a mask for the model layer, draw on the legs and right arm of the model, and try to use different brushes to show the random effect.

In order to show more ink effect, we create a new layer, the foreground color is set to black, using ink painting pen in the model's head and legs to draw. In this process you can use the Eraser tool to erase unwanted parts.

　　4th Step:

Open the ink texture material , drag it into our document, resize, angle, and scale, and move the material below the model layer.

Next we remove the white background from the ink-wash material. Double-click the ink material layer, below the mixed options panel to find the blend color Band, alt-Drag the white triangle icon, we will find the white background disappeared!

Add a mask to the ink layer and use a soft brush to erase the unwanted parts.

Create a new blank layer above the ink layer and set it as a clipping mask for the ink layer. Go back to the ink layer and use the Lasso tool to create a selection in the following figure area.

Use CTRL + C to copy and then select the new blank layer, CTRL + V paste, and adjust the angle to extend the ink effect.

　　5th step:

Next we adjust the color of the ink texture. Add a hue/saturation adjustment layer for the layer, and the parameters are set as follows:

　　6th step:

Install the tree brush . Create two layers below the ink layer, set the foreground color to black, and draw on two layers with a different tree brush. In this step you can use Ctrl+t to adjust the size and angle of the layer to make the branches look natural.

　　7th step:

Open the watercolor texture footage and drag it to the document. Follow the steps in step 4th to remove the white background. Set the layer blending mode to strong light, and then add a layer mask, which uses a brush to redraw most of the model's area.

To adjust the color for the watercolor texture, we add a hue/saturation adjustment layer for it, and the parameters are set as follows:

　　8th step:

Create a new layer at the top. We go back to step 1th, create the gradient layer, and use the Polygon Lasso tool to create the selection shown in the following figure, CTRL + C copy.

Ctrl + V paste on the top blank layer to adjust the layer blending mode to soft light 100%.

Copy the Layer two times, resize the two layers, and move to a different location.

　　9th step:

Install petal brushes . Create a new layer at the top, select a petal brush that you like, and set the foreground color to #677faf. Press the F5 key to bring up the brush options, set the brush parameters as follows:

Draws the shape of the petals in different positions by constantly adjusting the brush size.

To add the effect of depth, we do Gaussian blur on the petal layer, performing filters > Blur > Gaussian blur.

　　10th Step:

Open the flower material , choose the type of flower you like, and dig out. Drag into the document. Adjust size and angle.

Add a channel mixer and hue/saturation adjustment layer (clipping mask) to the flower layer to adjust the flower color.

Select the flower layer and two adjustment layers and press Ctrl+e to merge the layers. Hold down the ALT key to drag the flowers, copy out a layer, resize and position the two flowers as follows.

　　11th Step:

Open the butterfly material , pull it out and drag it into the document. Press the ALT key to drag and copy one layer, resizing and angle.

Double-click the butterfly layer to add a projection layer style to it.

Add a hue/saturation adjustment layer for each butterfly layer.

　　12th Step:

Create a new layer at the top of the document and set the foreground color to black. Use ink splash brushes where needed to create the feeling of ink flowing down. This step can be combined with eraser tool to erase unwanted places.

　　13th Step:

Create a new layer and draw in several places with a soft edge brush with a color of #7e9ac7. The layer blending mode is then set to soft light.

Then create a new layer, use the same color to draw at the model's arm, and set the layer blending mode to multiply.

Continue to create a new layer, using a color of #9ab0d2 and #e1bbb3的画笔分别在如图位置绘制 to set the blending mode to strong light.

　　14th Step:

Add two adjustment layers at the top.
