Use secureCRT in Win7 to establish communication with Fedora 17 on VMware
1. Enable Fedora 17 on VMware to access the Internet
1. VM-> edit-> Virtual Network editor. Configure VMnet8 in NAT mode as follows (ps. Because VMnet8 is required)
2. Modify VMnet8 in the win7 Network Adapter
3. Modify the network adapter settings of the fedora System in the virtual machine.
4. Go to the fedora command line interface and restart the network service. Run the ping command to check the network connection status.
5. Use the ifconfig command to view the ip number
Now, Fedora can access the Internet normally.
