The previous article mentioned setting up an IPv6 environment in Ubuntu (see the http://www.linuxidc.com/Linux/2012-06/63050.htm) to log on to the six-dimensional space (only educational network users can log on ). However, I have never thought about downloading resources based on uTorrent by using the six-dimensional Download Method in ubuntu. Today I found the materials and tried it, let's share it with you.

First, download the uTorrent file in linux from the uTorrent website, and decompress the file after the download. After decompression, double-click the utserver. A settings. dat file is displayed in the current directory, which does not change. In this case, open the browser and enter http: // localhost: 8080/gui/in the address bar. A dialog box is displayed. If you enter admin in the user name, a familiar download page is displayed. As follows:

The above is the interface after I tried to download a file. Note: Do not use the habit of using windows, that is, drag the seed file directly to the download page, otherwise, the system will directly call the built-in download tool Transmission to download the resource file, which will cause the download to fail. The correct method is to click the Add button on the far left of the menu bar to display the following dialog box:

Add the Torrent seed file path to the torrent file to start downloading. The Sub-path shown in the Options below is the directory where the downloaded resource files are stored. You can set the Sub-path. If you do not set the Sub-path, it will be placed in the file just decompressed by default, that is, it is in the same directory as the preceding utserver. At the same time, a seed file will appear when downloading the resource file under this directory.

As for the directory where the downloaded files are stored, you can click the button once and for all to see the dialog box:

Set the above "Put new downloads in" option to set the path of the downloaded file, while "Store. torrents in, you can set the path of the seed file that appears when you download the resource (the default value is "Put new downloads in "). After setting this, we can ignore the "Sub-path" option every time we download and add the seed path. (Do not set the "Put new downloads in" and "Sub-path" options at the same time, otherwise, the system will create a new Sub-path directory in the directory set at "Put new downloads in ).

The tutorial on using uTorrent to download resources in ubuntu is written here. Each of the above steps is valid for the test by the blogger. If you have any questions or supplements, please feel free to point them out. Thank you !!!
