Use VMware Workstation Pro in windows, create a virtual machine in ubuntu, and use vmwareubuntu
This document describes how to use VMware Workstation Pro in windows to create a virtual machine in ubuntu.
Step 1 【File]---【Create a VM]
The create VM wizard dialog box appears in step 2.
Standard: Create the VM according to the standard configuration.
Custom: configure the virtual machine as required. We recommend that you select Custom.
Step 3: create a virtual machine and install an operating system for the Virtual MachineInstall from 1: Put the installation disk into the host physical drive to install 2 installation disk image file: Use the iso image file to install (can be understood as a virtual disc ). 3. After installing the operating system, I will select the installation disk image file.
Step 4: Set the login account and password
Step 5: Set the name and select the installation directory
Step 6: Select Step 7 by default: select the running memory size Step 8: Set the network, Here select use network address conversion Step 9: Select step 10 by default: Select step 11th by default: select disk wizard Step 2: Select disk size Step 2: Select vmdk file storage directory Step 2: The last step, click Finish, it is a long wait, wait for automatic installation. I waited for about 40 minutes. After the installation is successful, I can directly access ubuntu.
