After a period of effort, I have set up a test environment for VMware View 5, as shown in test environment 1.

Figure 1 VMware View test environment
The environment in Figure 1 consists of two servers with a DL388G7, 16 GB memory, Intel E5620CPU, and 4 Gigabit Nic. VMware View Connection Server (VCS), VCS secure Connection Server, vCenter Server (VC), Active Directory Server, DHCP, and WSUS Server run on one of the servers, windows 7 and Windows XP virtual desktop templates also run on this server. The other Server carries the virtual desktop pools of Windows 7 and Windows XP and the virtual desktops of Windows Server 2003 terminals. At the egress of the network, a router is connected to the Internet. There is also a certificate server in the network. On the Internet, use different systems, PCs, laptops, and tablets to install the VMware View Client and use the VMware View 5 virtual desktop.
Note: 1) if the VMware View 5 virtual desktop is only used in the LAN, you do not need to configure the VMware VCS secure connection server.
2) In a vro, You need to map TCP port 443 and TCP and UDP port 4172 to the VCS secure connection server.
3) when using the VMware View virtual desktop, you must use a Certificate Server.
The installation and configuration of the VMware VCS server will be introduced in a later article. This article describes how to use the VMware View Client in IPAD2.
The main steps for using VMware View Client in IPAD2 are as follows.
1) install a trusted Certificate Authority ~ Figure 4.

2) install the VMware View For IPAD client. You can search and download it in Itunes For free.
3) after the installation is complete, run the VMware View program, as shown in Figure 5.

4) Click "+" on the right to add the server address. Note that you need to use a domain name instead of an IP address. Connect to the server and enter the VMware View user name and password, as shown in figure 6.

Note: VMware View For IPAD only supports PCoIP virtual desktops. You cannot use RDP to connect to VMware View virtual desktops. Therefore, a terminal-based VMware View virtual desktop is not supported on the IPAD.
6) You will log on to the virtual desktop later, as shown in figure 8.

Note:
In the VMware View virtual desktop, if you want to flip pages before and after, in addition to dragging the sliding bar on the right, you can also use the "gesture double finger up and down)" to scroll up and down, not like in the IPAD interface, drag it by hand.
