I saw Tom on the http://asktom.oracle.com and recommended Firefox. so I downloaded one from the Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.com) site and installed it on my Linux. I think this browser is really short and concise. it can be circled in many places. however, Shockwave Plug-in is not supported. speaking of plug-ins, you can download a Google toolbar from the http://googlebar.mozdev.org/index.html. not to mention, it's really similar to Windows. it seems that there are many fans of Google.
This little item can also be used in windows. What is lacking in the US is that the Google UI in Linux is not pretty yet.
