Use Http channels to break through firewall restrictions

Many companies impose strict firewall restrictions, so that many network services such as QQ and MSN cannot run. If you can still open the web page, using the Http channel software allows you to break through the restrictions and use any network service in the existing network conditions.

By using the Http channel software, you can break through the firewall restrictions and use the unique Http access permission to obtain other Internet applications. So what is a channel? The channel is a communication method that bypasses firewall port shielding. Packets at both ends of the firewall are encapsulated on the data packet type or port allowed by the firewall, and then communicate with the other party through the firewall. When the encapsulated data packet arrives at the destination, the data packet is restored, the restored data packets are forwarded to the corresponding server.

I. program installation and Setup
1. Run the downloaded Installer. The installation process can be completed simply by running Next.

2. After the installation is complete, the "Configuration" window will pop up to set the local Internet connection. There are three options:
A) Auto detected: You can select this option if you do not know your machine connection.
B) No Proxy, only a firewall (with a firewall): select this option for LAN and direct Internet access users.
C) Specify Proxy (specifying the Proxy server): If you use the Proxy server to access the Internet, you must also enter the Proxy server address and port, enter the user name and password together.

3. After the connection is set, click "Test" to Test the connection. If you see the prompt "Test successful (Test successful)", the setting is complete.

4. After the program runs properly, you can minimize it. It will generate a tag in the prompt area of the taskbar and click Restore.

2. Set QQ access
As QQ uses port 4000 for external access, the network administrator usually limits QQ access by using the port. The following describes how to set QQ to access the Internet through http-tunnel.

1. Open QQ, click "QQ menu", and select "System Parameters ".
2. In the pop-up QQ parameter settings window, select "Network Settings ".
3. Check "use proxy server ".
4. Enter the proxy server address: 127.0.0.1, and port: 1080.
5. OK. Close all windows and log on again to use QQ.

3. Set MSN access
The access settings for MSN are similar to those for QQ, but http-tunnel supports MSN much better than QQ. The configuration steps are as follows:

1. Select "option" from the "Tools" menu ".
2. Select the connection tab.
3. Check "I am using a proxy server ".
4. Select "SOCKS4" as the type, enter "127.0.0.1" in the server, and port number "1080 ".
5. OK. Close all windows and log on again to use MSN.

4. Set Cuteftp access
Sometimes, to control the use of network bandwidth and ensure information security, the network administrator needs to restrict the FTP service, which makes uploading and downloading files inconvenient. By setting the same settings, you can ensure that Cuteftp accesses the Internet. The setting steps are as follows:

1. Select the "edit" menu and select "Settings". The settings window is displayed.
2. Expand "connection", select "SOCKS", select "SOCKs4", and host: Port 127.0.0.1: 1080. (Tu5.bmp)
3. Select "firewall" and check "Enable Firewall access" and "PASV mode"
4. OK. Close all windows and you can select site logon to download files.

5. Set Windows XP Remote Desktop Connection To Use Http-Tunnel
Because the Remote Desktop Connection does not provide a proxy server setting interface, you cannot directly set it like QQ, MSN, and Cuteftp. At this time, we can use SocksCap to help us complete the process. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Install SocksCap.
2. Run SocksCap and select "Settings" in the "file" menu. The "SocksCap Settings" dialog box is displayed.
3. Fill in "server/SOCKS Server" with 127.0.0.1 and "Port" with 1080.
4. Select "SOCKS version 4" in "Protocol", and select "Resolve all names remote (remote resolution)" in "domain name resolution )".
5. Click "new" and enter mstsc in "id item name.
6.in a single click, click browse to find the location of the mstsc.exe file.
7. Click OK.

Double-click the mstsc icon in the SocksCap list to start mstsc. Note that mstsc must be started from SocksCap. Otherwise, the proxy stepping stone will not be used. In fact, many Internet applications that cannot be configured with firewalls can implement the Http channel function in this way.
