However, because the network is strict, there is no file sharing port (the Web port is open ), therefore, you cannot log on to VSS using the same settings. I thought that VSS supports Internet, so I made some settings.

If you have a few questions, follow the steps to check the Enable sourcesafe Internet for this computer. Do not check the following enable sourcesafe Internet for this database at the same time; otherwise, you cannot continue.
Second, when setting the client's Internet access, you only need to fill in the IP address or host address. vss will automatically search for the VSS database under the server.
