Previously, JSlint was used to verify JavaScript code and found that it was not flexible enough. Therefore, JSHint was used. According to the official statement, JSHint is a community-driven tool used to detect errors and potential problems in JavaScript code, standardize the coding style, and ensure the quality of the Code. JSHint has made many improvements based on JSLint, allowing developers to define verification options themselves.

Installation Method
Latest stable version update URL:
Http://github.eclipsesource.com/jshint-eclipse/updates/
- On the Eclipse Main Menu, click:Help> Install New Software...
- Enter the URL above, and then selectJSHint Eclipse Integration
- The subsequent installation process is very simple. Click OK.
Update Method
If it has been installed, you can update it:
- On the Eclipse Main Menu, click:Help> Check for Updates
Uninstall Method
You can detach an ECS instance as follows:
- On the Eclipse Main Menu, click:Help> About Eclipse> Installation Details
- SelectJSHint Eclipse Integration, ClickUninstall
Usage
Select the project to enable verification, right click-> properties, select the JSHint item, and configure the files and folders for enabling verification. The configuration file example is as follows:
