Use L2TP-based VPN settings in Ubuntu (hardware key is supported ).
1. Add PPA
Sudo apt-add-repository ppa: seriy-pr/network-manager-l2tp
2. Refresh the software package cache
Sudo apt-get update
3. Install network-manager-l2tp
Sudo apt-get install network-manager-l2tp-gnome
Do not forget to run the following command after installation
Sudo service xl2tpd stop
Sudo update-rc.d xl2tpd disable.
Restart the machine
The following options are available in the new VPN: (L2TP)
On the create VPN tab page, make the following options:
Click ipses settings, and fill in the pre-shared key allocated by the company.
OK. Now you can connect to the VPN. Enter the password of your hardware Key in the displayed Password box.
