When it comes to the late stage, then again, I repeat the goal of digital photography later is: to express vision, repair defects, create emotions, guide the eyes, and ultimately output (print). If you reject later, please skip this article.

In fact, the history of digital photography is very short, so we can boldly try various late methods to achieve the effect we want, the worst result is simply click on the reset button, let us adjust this photo from the beginning.
Today I wrote this is not a late-stage tutorial, I just want to share with you is facing a piece of the original, we have to start from what aspects, with which steps of the post-processing to achieve the desired effect, or how to guide the audience through the late view.
Instead of telling everyone how to add masks, how to do hdr, how to Noise, how to Garri, how to color, I am very clear, this knowledge, I am very scarce.
Now share some of my humble opinions through two cases:
When we adjust a picture, we have to think of the following three questions:
1, to understand what we want to convey through this picture, this picture is about what, we want to express how the mood, mood or ideas.
2. Why do we have to take this picture, we took this picture is to be attracted by the interesting center in this picture, let us press this shutter?
3. Where do we want each of the viewers to look at this picture? Where is the second eye?
Photos want to convey what I have in front of many of the film to share with you, I think there are two kinds of photographic works, one is the idea of emotional, a kind of pure visual impact, the two types are not high or low. As long as the feeling in place, are good film.
This photo is a shoemaker I filmed on my way home last year after I went to the mountain to pray. The picture that we see now is the one I adjusted slightly last year. It was just a little bit of color adjustment.

Today we readjust this picture to see where we start:
From the original film (I did last year in simple late) the picture is a little messy. The center of gravity of the photo is not very clear, some people will pay attention to the hand of the shoemaker, some people may be an inattentive eyes will be the upper right corner of the metal shoe repair tool said to attract.
So this piece of work is not what I want to achieve. I want viewers to see a pair of perennial work, rough hands continue to work, other things should be excluded from the screen.
People's vision has a habit, in a fixed environment, usually: first look at the light, after the dark. First look at the clear, after the blurred. First look at the bright, after looking elegant. First look at the warm color, and then look at the cool.
Wait a minute actually know these principles, we adjust a piece of film is very simple. We have to highlight these rough hands, then we let these hands clearer, brighter. Other factors that we don't want the audience to notice, we make it darker and more blurred. It's that simple.
I used the Mask tool in LR to sharpen the shoemaker's hand individually, and to highlight the exposure of the mask area as appropriate.
Highlights the visibility of the mask area
This is the adjustment parameter (each film adjustment range is different, depending on the situation).
Adjust parameters
In order for the audience to gather their eyes on the hands, I used the dark corner tool to make a wide range of dark corners around them.
With dark angle tool, big range of dark angle
Then we go through these two simple steps, basically achieve the effect I want.
When we first looked at this picture, it must have been a pair of rough, full of calluses of the hands of the attraction, this is my later to achieve the visual guidance and emotional expression.
Case Two
Scenery Photos
This picture of scenery I lightly carried, do not waste people too much time. I just want to say a reason, you should understand.
The hardest part of the scene is two points. The first is the prospect of looking. The second is the weather for power.
So when we have struggled to find a future to shoot, what is the reason not to shoot the foreground clearly? What reasons do we have to not make the Garri more clear in the late processing?
We have not said before, people's visual habits are the first to see clear elements, and then look at the vague elements.
