Use layer style overlay to make lifelike lava flame word

The lava word is made in layer style very quickly. Process: First use a text layer to make texture, and then use a few layers to make light-emitting, color, smoke, etc., when superimposed only to the fill to 0.

1, a new 1000 * 700 pixels, resolution of 72 of the canvas, to determine the background after the black fill. Select the Type tool, enter the text you want, font color arbitrary, text slightly select a little larger, the following figure.

3, press CTRL + J to copy a layer of text layer, in the copy layer thumbnail blue area right button, in the pop-up menu select "Clear Layer style."

5. Press CTRL + J to copy the copy of the text to a layer, and then right click on the thumbnail blue area to select clear layer style.

Create a copy of the 2 thumbnail load layer style, set: Projection, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, bevel and emboss, contour, pattern overlay, the specific value of the text according to their size slightly adjusted. 6. Press CTRL + J to copy a layer of the Copy 2 layer, and then right-click on the thumbnail to select clear layer style.

Double-click the text copy 3 thumbnail to bring up the layer style, set: projection, outer glow, bevel and emboss, texture, parameter settings, such as Figure 21-25, after determining the fill to: 0%, the effect is as Figure 26.
