Summary of LSNRCTL commands
- Change_password -- allows the user to change the password required to close the listener
- Exit -- exit LSNRCTL
- Quit -- execute the same function as exit
- Reload -- re-read the listener. ora file, but do not close the listener. If the file changes, it refresh the listener.
- Save_config -- when the listener. ora file is modified from the LSNRCTL tool, save the configuration and copy a listener. ora file named listener. Bak.
- Services -- list a summary table of services and process each protocol serviceProgramNumber of established and rejected connections
- Start listener -- start a specified listener
- Status listener -- display the status of the specified listener
- Trace -- enable the tracing feature of the listener
- Version -- display the Oracle Net version
SET command options in the LSNRCTL command
- current_listener -- set the current listener to a specified listener or display the current listener
- displaymod -- set the display mode of LSNRCTL to raw, compact, normal, or verbose.
- inbound_connect_timeout -- in seconds, specify the time for a client to complete a listener connection request after the network connection is established. If the listener cannot receive the request within this allocation time, a ORA-12525 error will be generated
- log_status -- check whether the log feature is enabled for the listener
- LOG_FILE -- display or set the log file name
- log_directory -- display the log directory location
- rawmod -- displays more details about status and services (when they are set to on ). Value: ON or OFF
- startup_waittime -- set the length of time for the listener to wait for a status command in the LSNRCTL command line tool
- save_config_onstop -- save changes to the listener. ora file when you exit the LSNRCTL tool
- trc_level -- set the Trace Level to off, user, admin, or support
- TRC_FILE -- set the name of the listener trace file
- trc_directory -- set the name of the listener trace directory
