Use MentoHUST in Ubuntu instead of ruijie certification for Internet access

Some time ago, when I reviewed the OS, I ran to Ubuntu without reading textbooks. I started to get started with the Linux release. As the school's Linux version of ruijie always fails to be installed, it turned to a third-party client and accidentally discovered MentoHUST. MentoHUST was first developed by Huazhong University of Science and Technology under the Linux system. Later, it was extended to programs that support ruijie certification under Windows, Linux, and MacOS (with support for Xaar certification ), is a certified customer with good compatibility with ruijie in Linux.

Installation and Configuration:

Generally, double-click the downloaded deb package to install the package (the system uses the Ubuntu Software Center by default), or use terminal commands in the download path, sudo dpkg-I deb package, such as sudo dpkg-I mentohust_0.3.4-1_amd64.deb.

After the installation is successful, run the sudo mentohust-h command to view the help information as follows:

Since an individual uses a dynamic IP address and DHCP authentication, only one configuration example is provided:

Sudo mentohust-uusername-p123456-a1-d2-b2-v4.10-w

If-B is set to 1 or 2, the connection will not be closed when the terminal is closed or Ctrl + C is used; the-w parameter indicates that the configuration information is saved to the file/etc/mentohust by default. conf. To authenticate again, you only need to enter the sudo mentohust command.

For static IP users, you must first configure the IP address, gateway, mask, DNS, and other information in Network Connections, and then configure the information according to the help information.

You can use sudo mentohust-k or pkill mentohust to exit authentication.
