Use of Oracle 9i management tools

3.4.1 the use of "SQL Plus"
(1) The "registration" interface as shown in Figure 3.12.
(2) The SQL Plus interface, as shown in Figure 3.13, appears after the database has been successfully connected.

(3) Input query statement "SELECT * from Scott.emp;" (All records for the EMP datasheet under Scott's user), the results of the execution are shown in Figure 3.14.

3.4.3 the use of "Enterprise Manager"
1. Independent Login
(1) The Oracle Enterprise Manager console interface appears as shown in Figure 3.21.

(2) The "Enterprise Manager after standalone startup" interface appears as shown in Figure 3.22.

(2) "Menu bar" has 6 items.
(3) There are 6 shortcut buttons in the shortcut button area, as shown in Figure 3.23.
(4) There are 6 major types of integrated management tools in the Integrated management tool area, as shown in Figure 3.24.

(5) The Manage Target navigator centrally manages database objects and must be connected to the database before they are displayed. Manage target display displays all objects under that category.
(6) To implement the database management must first log in to the database, in the "Enterprise Manager" is also called the connection. In the Manage Target Navigator, double-click the network/database/myoracle option to appear in the database connection information interface as shown in Figure 3.25.

2. Log on to "Management Server"
