Ssh is a protocol designed for security of remote logon sessions and other network services. The SSH protocol can effectively prevent information leakage during Remote Management. This program has been installed in unbuntu and Fedora. ssh is divided into client and server, it can be used for remote login management and remote file transmission. First, we need to enable the ssh server in the system. The ssh server process name is generally sshd, you can use "ps-aux | grepsshd" to check whether the ssh server program is running.

If no, www.linuxidc.com can use sudo/etc/init. d/sshd start starts the server program. The client contains ssh programs and other applications such as scp (Remote copy), slogin (remote login), and sftp (Secure File Transfer.
I have two systems in the VM: Ubuntu, 192.168.1.105, wangfeng2500, 192.168.ora, 192.168.1.103, and wangfeng. Then use the following method to log on to SSH:
(1) In Ubuntu, after entering the ssh wangfeng@192.168.1.103 in the command line, enter the password, it is equivalent to logging on to the wangfeng user in fedora, and then you can perform related operations.
(2) In fedora, enter the ssh wangfeng2500@192.168.1.105 in the command line, enter the password, it is equivalent to logging on to the wangfeng2500 user in Ubuntu.
(3) One problem is that I used ssh 192.168.105 (or 103) and the operation was not successful without a user name.
When ssh works properly, scp runs properly.
Use the scp command to remotely transmit files from fedora to Ubuntu
