Use of the flash8.0 pen tool and the partial selection tool

It is very easy to draw a line with the pen tool. Position the pointer over the stage where you want the line to start click and click where you want the first line to end. Continue clicking to create other line segments, and if you want to end this, double-click the last point.

Description: Hold down the SHIFT key to click to limit the line to a multiple of 45 degrees tilt.

The key to creating a curve is to drag the mouse while you are pressing the mouse, and then place the pointer where you want to end the curve segment, press the mouse button, and then drag in the opposite direction to complete the line segment. If you feel that this curve is not satisfactory, rest assured, we can also use the partial selection tool to adjust.

Now we're going to practice drawing a wavy line, and in order to make it easy for everyone to understand, first perform the "View" | "Grid" | "Show Grid" command, where the grid appears in the workspace, making it easier for us to point to. We start by pressing the mouse on the vertex of a grid and drag the mouse up to the diagonal point of the vertex, as shown in Figure 2-2-15.

Then drag and drop every three grids, and each drag-and-drop direction is reversed from the previous one. Well, a very regular wavy line appears, as shown in Figure 2-2-16.

You can see that in the drawing line when the mouse down where a node, the use of the partial selection tool click Nodes, there will be two handles, as shown in Figure 2-2-17.

Drag the handle to change the shape of the curve. Hold down the ALT key to drag the handle, without affecting the other handle. Drag a node to change the location of the node. As shown in Figure 2-2-18.
