Use of the Gmtime () method for manipulating date and time in Python

The Gmtime () method converts the Calendar element to a struct_time in UTC where the DST flag value is always 0 in seconds. If you do not set the seconds or none, the time returned is the current hour ().

The following is the syntax for the Gmtime () method:

Time.gmtime ([sec])

Parameters

  • The SEC-this is the number of seconds converted into a structure struct_time to represent.

return value

This method does not return any values.
Example

The following example shows the use of the Gmtime () method.

When we run the above program, it produces the following results:
