Use of the isdecimal () method for processing strings in Python, pythonisdecimal

The isdecimal () method checks whether a string is composed of only decimal characters. This method only exists in unicode objects.

Note: To define a string as Unicode, you only need to assign 'U' left quotation marks with the prefix. The following is an example.
Syntax

The syntax of the isdecimal () method is as follows:

Str. isdecimal ()

Parameters

  • NA

Return Value

Returns true if all characters in the string are decimal. Otherwise, returns false.
Example

The following example shows how to use the isdecimal () method.

When we run the above program, it will produce the following results:
