The Paste Selective feature helps users selectively paste the contents of the Clipboard in a Word 2010 document, such as pasting the contents of the Clipboard into a picture in the target location. The steps for using the Paste feature in a Word 2010 document are as follows:
Step 1th, open the Word 2010 document window, select the text or object you want to copy or cut, and perform a copy or cut operation.
Step 2nd, click the Drop-down triangle button below the Paste button in the Clipboard group in the Start Ribbon, and click the Paste Selective command in the Drop-down menu, as shown in Figure 2010010701.

Step 3rd, select the Paste Radio box in the Open Paste Selection dialog box, and then select a paste format in the form list, such as the picture (Windows Metafile) option, and click OK, as shown in Figure 2010010702.

In step 4th, the contents of the Clipboard will be pasted into the target location as a picture, as shown in Figure 2010010703.
