Use Photoshop to create dark metal flame style WordArt

This PS basic tutorial will introduce how to create dark metal style text effects in Photoshop. Hope Photoshop beginners like it.

1, select the "File/new" menu, open the "new" or CTRL + N dialog box name: PS Dark metal style, width: 800 pixels, Height: 600 pixels, "resolution" of 72, "mode" for RGB color documents, as shown in Figure 1.

2, the Executive menu: "File"/"Import", respectively, import material 1, 2, adjust its location and size to fit, as shown in Figure 2.

3, select Layer 1 in the layer template, set the layer blending mode to strong light, as shown in Figure 3.

4, select the Horizontal Type tool in the Toolbox, after clicking with the mouse in the screen, an input text cursor appears, enter "Ahtwe" after the cursor, set the font to "Harryp" in the tool options bar, set the font size to "114.24 dots", and set the anti-aliasing to "smooth". Set the font color to white, as shown in Figure 4.

5, double click Ahtwe Layer into the layer style, respectively, tick projection, inner shadow, outer glow, inner glow, bevel and relief, color overlay, gradient overlay, pattern overlay, gloss options. As shown in Figure 5

6, check the projection, set the blending mode: multiply, color: black, opacity is: 20%, the angle is: 90 degrees, the distance is: 2 pixels, expanded to: 40%, the size is: 4 pixels, as shown in Figure 6.

7, check the inner shadow, set the inner shadow blending mode: Soft light, click on the color label, shadow color set to Black, opacity: 40%, Angle:-41, Distance: 20 pixels, blocking for: 100%, size: 0 pixels, and then click OK button, as shown in Figure 7.

8, the selection of external light-emitting options, set projection blending mode: Color Dodge, Opacity: 80%, click to edit the gradient, set the foreground to transparent, the color is orange to white, the method is soft, expand to 0%, size is: 25 pixels, the range is 50%, as shown in Figure 8.

9, tick the inner glow option, set the projection blending mode: Color Dodge, opacity: 65%, Noise: 0%, click Edit Gradient, set foreground to transparent, white to transparent, the method is: accurate, Source: center, blocking: 0%, size: 65 pixels, Range: 50%, other settings reference Figure 9, As shown in Figure 9.

10, check the bevel and relief options, style: Inner bevel, methods: Carving clear, Depth: 155%, Direction: Under, Size: 38 pixels, softening: 0 pixels, Angle: 20, Height: 20 degrees, high light mode: overlay, Color: white, opacity for: 80%, Shadow mode: Soft light, Color is: Black, opacity is: 100%, other Settings value reference Figure 10, as shown in Figure 10.

11, check the gloss options, blending mode: Color Dodge, click on the color mark, set Luster color: white, set opacity: 35%, Angle: 19 degrees, Distance: 15 pixels, Size: 25 pixels, check the anti-aliasing and reversed, as shown in Figure 11.
