Use Photoshop to make Halloween pumpkin lanterns

1. First, run your Photoshop to create a new document, size please decide for yourself. In this tutorial, I used the 1440*900px. Then fill the background layer with a brownish to black radial gradient, as shown in the figure.

2, now you need to download a picture of pumpkin to copy into the picture. Open the pumpkin footage in Photoshop, and then use the Lasso tool to create a selection around the pumpkin. Because the pumpkin looks a bit flat, you can use the free transform to adjust the shape of the pumpkin to make it a bit more rounded. Then use the Lasso tool to trim the stem of the pumpkin, as shown in the picture.

3, use Lasso tool to select the stem of the pumpkin, press ctrl+shift+i to reverse, press the Ctrl+u open hue/saturation, adjust the color of the pumpkin. Then press Ctrl+shift+i again to reverse the selection, turn on hue/saturation to adjust the color of the pumpkin stem to make it greener, as shown in the picture.
