Building PHP is not difficult, but complicated. It takes a lot of time to build a PHP + MySQL environment. Worse, many new users often encounter such problems when configuring PHP. Such as mysql extension and zend installation failure. In this case, we need a fast, standard, and professional PHP suite package. PHPnow came into being to help you quickly build professional virtual hosts.

PHPnow has two packages: one is the self-decompressed version of exe (recommended in this article), and the other is the pure 7z file (without the self-decompressed version of exe ).

The execution PHPnow-1.4.x.exe appears. Press enter.

After the automatic decompression is completed, the Init. cmd command is automatically executed to perform initialization. As shown in figure-2:

A firewall prompt may appear during this period. Please allow.

Init. cmd can be completed in 10 seconds. The renewal page is automatically displayed. (If not, open http: // manually)

If you only want to build a website, the above environment is sufficient. In most cases, we need to open multiple independent websites. For example, separating a forum from a home page and sharing a server with friends. In this case, the VM is used.

The following describes how to use the PHPnow VM. Very simple.

Double-click execute D: \ phpnow \ PNCP. CMD (your installation path may not be D: \ phpnow), enter 2, and press Enter.

Follow the prompts to enter new VM information. See Figure 5.

After you enter the information and press enter, Apache will be automatically restarted to take effect.

Then visit the added domain name. Note that the domain name points to your server IP address in advance.

If you do not have a domain name or do not use it, you can use "virtual domain name" by editing c: \ windows \ system32 \ drivers \ etc \ hosts"

In this example, is implemented by adding a line "" in the next line of " localhost.

You may also need to allocate a MySQL database to each VM. The following describes how to use phpMyAdmin to allocate users and databases.

Enable http: // 127.1/phpMyAdmin; and log on with root.

Click "permission" and then "Add new user ".

Enter the new user name and password;

Select the second item "create database with same name and grant all privileges ".

Keep others by default. You must note that you do not select global permissions unless necessary.

Click [execute. Let's look at the figure.

Figure-7: Add a database user.

Just give the username and password you just added to the user. Note that root has the highest permissions. Do not give the password to others easily.

Okay! You now have a professional PHP virtual server environment.
