In this example, we will learn how to use PowerPointtoFlash to convert PPT files into SWF files in flash. This not only makes the file easy to play, but also makes it more suitable for online publishing.
Step/method
Using a magic lamp to create a product demo is a common task for many organizations, but its ppt format files are not easy to publish online. The powerpoint environment is required for playing the presentation, even if a package executable file is generated, sometimes the path and incompatibility problems may occur for the video file to be inserted, which may cause some inconvenience to our use. But now, we can use PowerPointtoFlash to convert PPT files into SWF files in flash. This not only makes the file easy to play, but also makes it more suitable for online publishing.
Prepare the PPT (PPS) slides to be converted
Click Start program PowerPointtoFlash in turn to enter the main interface for running PowerPointtoFlash. On the main interface of PowerPointtoFlash, click the "add" button under the file column label. In the displayed browser box, select the prepared slide file (PPT or PPS file ). After you click the open command button, the corresponding document appears in the list box under the file list of the software. If you find that you want to modify the settings, you can select the settings and click "clear" to delete them (Figure 1 ). Figure 1 software interface
Adjust the size and quality of the output file screen
To achieve the optimal playback effect for the final output SWF file, you need to set the size and image quality of the output image. Method: click the "options" button on the left to bring up the "options" setting dialog box (Figure 2 ). Set "regular", "playback quality", "navigation", and "output" in sequence. Select the "playback quality" option to adjust the slider under "image size" and "JPEG quality". At the same time, note that high-resolution and high-definition images will increase the size. Add navigation bar and adjust playback speed
To facilitate the demonstration, you need to add a playback navigation bar for the generated SWF file. Method: Click "options" on the left to bring up the "options" setting dialog box. Select the "navigation" option and select "display navigation panel" in the "navigation panel" column below. To enable automatic playback of the generated file, you need to configure the file. In the "automatic playback" column, select "automatically play mode after Flash loading ". Under the "automatic playback interval" option, select the "get interval information from the original slide" item. To control the playback interval, select the next option "use a fixed automatic playback interval" and enter the appropriate interval in the space (figure 3 ). Figure 3 set the appropriate interval
Tips: If you click to flip the page manually, you do not need to set these options.
Set the "output" option
The method is the same as above. In the "options" attribute setting dialog box, click the last "output" option. To ensure the integrity of the entire output file, you must first select "output each slide as a separate SWF file" under the "split presentation file" item. In addition, if you want to generate both SWF files and HTML files for publishing, select "generate HTML publishing File" under "publishing" (Figure 4 ). Click the Browse button in the lower-right corner of the main interface of the PowerPointtoFlash program to select the corresponding save directory, and then click the Start command button on the main interface of the program to convert the file format.
