In the Vista environment, the local NIC address is 192.168.0.56 (wired, and the gateway is 192.168.0.1), and DHCP is used wirelessly. After using virtualbox to install centos5.4, configure the network parameters so that Putty can simulate the steps to remotely log on to the centos system:
1. on the "network" setting interface of virtualbox, select "Host-only adapter" as the network connection mode ".
2. right-click the "network" icon on the Vista desktop, click the "properties" option, and select "manage network connections" to open the interface. You can find "virtualbox host-only network ", set its IP address to 192.168.1.1.
3. Start centos and Log On As root:
(1) vi/etc/sysconfig/network, add/modify

5. Ping from both Vista and Linux systems is OK.

6. Start putty in Vista and set the IP address to 192.168.1.2.
