Use QQ files to transfer large files between the Office and the residence

Abstract:

This article describes how developers use QQ large attachment uploads and QQ file transfer stations to solve the problem of file transfer between the Office and the residence. In order to save the waiting time, we also used the tips of automatic shutdown.

 

Our developers often encounter such problems. They develop various materials in the company and want to continue working overtime after returning home. But how can we "bring" large volumes of data back home? There are several common methods:

1. Copy the USB flash drive.

2. Move the hard drive.

3. Send by email.

4. Upload the file through FTP and download it home.

The 1st and 2 methods can be implemented only when a USB flash drive or a mobile hard disk is used. The 3rd method is generally a small file, and a large attachment is tricky, some email providers do not support uploading large files on their websites. For example, hotmail.com is up to 10 MB. The 4th method is applicable to those who control the server or have an FTP account.

Many people use QQ or have QQ accounts. Some may say that our company cannot use QQ for work. All of this is irrelevant. Believe that you have a QQ account? If not, you are either new netizens or aliens. In any case, you can register one.

Well, the next step is my focus: when using the QQ file transfer station as a temporary network hard disk, it can be retained for you for seven days, if not enough, it can be renewed.

Go to the QQ mailbox:

(1) If you have logged on to QQ, click the second QQ mailbox icon in the second row of QQ panel and enter.

(2) If you have not logged on to QQ, click the link http://mail.qq.com.

After logging in, you can:

Email is your QQ number plus @ QQ.com, for example, your QQ number is 333888, then email is: 333888@qq.com. Of course, you can also set it to a more friendly email number, such as a yourname@qq.com or a yourname888@qq.com. The specific settings are not detailed here. I believe many people will use this, which is too basic. For large attachments, I suggest you download the ultra-large attachment upload Control for QQ. Upload your file with a large attachment and send it to your mailbox.

(4) directly use the "File Transfer Station (quick version)", and upload the large attachment in the bottom column on the left. Of course, the premise is that you must install the QQ large attachment upload control. After the upload is complete, go home and click "File Transfer Station (quick version)" to enter and download the large attachment.

 

OK, that's simple.

 

Some people may say, Wow, my file is huge and I am about to get off work. I don't want to wait for it to upload it slowly. What should I do? Hey, let's go on!

There are always methods. You only need to make minor improvements in the (3) and (4) mentioned above.

For example, in article (3), you can click the minimize window when uploading large attachments, and then fill in other projects, such as themes, content, or set other parameters, for example, "Save to" sent ", and then click" send "or" timed sending. In this way, the large attachment will continue to work until the sending is complete. Article (4) is also similar. The following is the most critical step: Set the Timed Shutdown. Because the upload of the large attachment mentioned above takes time, we can't wait. If you want to get off work in a hurry, set the Timed Shutdown:

In the lower left corner of the window interface, click Start, and then click Run. In the open text box, enter shutdown-s-t 3600, where 3600 refers to 3600 seconds, that is, an hour, and then click "OK ". Well, it will automatically shut down in an hour, saving you trouble! If it takes only half an hour to upload data, you can change it to shutdown-s-t 1800.
