Use the display driver of Vmware for windows in kvm

 

Is it strange to see this. I recently discovered that Kvm can use the vmware vga driver. In the help of kvm, we can see the following:

-- Video = VIDEO Specify what video device model will be attached to the guest. valid values for VIDEO are hypervisor specific, but some options for recent kvm are cirrus, vga, or vmvga (vmware ).

 

I installed Windows with kvm and changed the vistor driver. I also tested the vmware driver to see it. It feels pretty good. You can also play together. I want to play SPICE when I have time.

Before modification, download a driver from the Kvm website. Install the vmware driver. After the installation is complete, Just restart.

After restarting and entering the system, we will see the following figure. The shortcut key is still kvm by default and remains unchanged.
