We all know that it is relatively easy to share encrypted files between different users in the same Windows Vista system. However, if you want to share encrypted files between two Windows Vista operating systems, you must import and export the encrypted files through the EFS certificate.
That is to say, first export the encrypted certificate of the file from the current system (of course, this means that the key associated with the certificate will also be automatically exported), and then import it to the target computer. With the corresponding certificate and key, we can grant the File Permission to be operated by the corresponding user.
Steps
Export the corresponding EFS certificate and associated key on the computer that contains the encrypted file;
Import the encrypted certificate to the target computer;
For more information, see Import and Export EFS certificates.
In this way, encrypted files can be shared between different Windows Vista systems.
