List. append (obj)

Parameters

Return value

This method does not return any value, but updates the existing list.
Example

The following example shows how to use the append () method.

#! /Usr/bin/pythonaList = [123, 'XYZ', 'Zara ', 'ABC']; aList. append (2014); print "Updated List:", aList;

When we run the above program, it will produce the following results:

Updated List: [123, 'XYZ', 'Zara ', 'ABC', 2014]
